Anne Asfaw joined JFH Law in 2011, she is a barrister, specialising in Criminal and Immigration law. 

Having been called to the bar in 2007, Anne completed pupillage with a leading criminal law chambers based in Temple. Whilst at the independant bar Anne built up expertise defending clients across a wide range of criminal offences.  Anne received extensive specialist training from leading criminal barristers in the preparation, strategy and execution of complex murder, sexual, terrorism and appeal cases, often with enormous quantities of evidence to master. This was hugely influential in forging Anne’s robust and committed approach to each and every case that she undertakes. 

Her calm yet tenacious manner in court delivers results for her clients who often feel that they are pitted against the system.  With previous professional experience in business and social services, she is adept at navigating her way through complex procedures and dealing effectively with other professionals to further the best interests of her clients. Anne also has particular expertise in representing clients coping with mental illness and learning disabilities.

Anne is committed to achieving outstanding results for her immigration clients, and is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association. Her particular expertise is finding solutions for those with complex immigration problems.  

Anne can speak to French-speaking clients in their own language and always ensures non-English speakers are properly supported.
